Hot Day @ Orchard Road

This morning I suddenly just woke up! haha! Don't know why but I just suddenly woke up. Took a look at my HP and realised it was already around 9:15am. Had a dream last night, well it's a dream which I've been having for the past few years, after I broke up with my ex about 3 years ago.(Hard to imagine right? I've been single for 3 years already haha!!)

Anyway, in my dreams, I'll be with this particular girl, either shopping, eating or doing something together. But no matter what, I can never have a look at her face, I remembered there was only one time where I nearly had a clear view of her face when I was suddenly awaken by my dad.... ARH!!!

Didn't have much things to do, so I gave Hui a call to see if she's going downtown. Well, turned out that she was already there with two of her friends. But, she told me to hurry up, cause she said that she was feeling like "out of place". As there was her friend's friend there, and the clothes they were looking at, weren't what she liked. haha!

So, I doll myself up a bit and off I went haha! But the freaky weather was so, so, so HOT! Even right now, night time, as I'm typing this entry, I could still feel the Heat! Imagine how hot was the weather!

I met up with her. She was wearing a grey overall and a pair of slippers. Looking like the Yue Hui I know. haha!! First, We went around looking at shoes. I didn't shop around much for my own stuffs, cuz I know that my shopping Paradise is in Taipei haha!!! (WHich I'm planning to go back again next year)

Then, her friend called to ask where she was. The moment her friends met up with her, their eyes seem to say "I think we better not be (Light bulb)". Their eyes looked at me saying: "Don't worry, we won't be your LightBulb one. We'll go shop on our own..."

So, very quickly, her friends made their way off. And both of us continued to shop. We went into this small, small shop, which sells very Authentic Asian-designed tops. I chose one top which would bring out the good figure of Yue Hui. And surprisely, she liked it immediately. (Well, you know, after what she told me a few days ago. About her not liking the type of clothes I choose for her... I kinda tone down on my selections for her....)

Then, we went by this accessory shop and she bought a black necklace which cost about $5 (Quite cheapI guess)

Anyway, we went to Taka later, and I went to kino to buy a Guy's Fashion magazine which I would buy Forth-monthly.

Along the streets, there were these "Tapestry" group of people being stationed all over Orchard Road, displaying Bands, balloons and doing surveys and Of cause, Charity as well.
We went by this particular station where people can donate $5 and paint on a canvas. Which I thought was a brilliant idea. Especially kids, they would love to paint and leave their artistic mark there. haha!!!


Then, we went to Hereen to look, look, see, see. We went by this shop, and suddenly she said: "Hey! Look! This T-Shirt is so nice! Let's go inside and take a look!"

We went into this shop and took a look at that t-shirt. Printed on it was a phrase: "Bu Yao Wen Wo. Wo Bu Zhi Dao!" haha!!! That was so cool! And what was more cool was, the t-shirt was on 50% discount! Without second thought, we both bought one t-shirt each! haha!!!

At this time, her phone rang... The expression on her face totally changed. Even though I don't know who was on the phone. But I had this feeling that it must be someone very important to her. Cuz, knowing her so well and so long, I've never seen such expression on her face before. After she hung up on the phone, she told me it was her EX, he wanna meet up with her one last time, before he flew off to America. I could see her eyes turning red, she was gonna cry...
suddenly, I said: "Don't cry worZ... No matter what. Don't cry...."
"No...Who say I was gonna cry..." She tried to change topic and hide from me.
But it was too late, her eyes betrayed her and let me saw everything that was to be seen....

Since then, she kept looking at her watch. Her mind and soul ain't here with me. It had long flew to where she would be meeting with her EX... Suntec City... Don't why, I just popped this question:

"DOn't tell me, you're gonna patch back with him?!"
"NO LAH!" she replied.

But, a gut-feeling told me that I wasn't one bit convinced about this answer. Still, I didn't ask further... I just somehow respected her answer and decision...

Then, we went back to that station where people could donate and paint...

After we finished painting, we went across the road. Then, something, or should I say someone caught my attention...
This boy, aged 7, was playing the drum set really really well! And what was more amazing was, he started playing at a very tender age of 2!!! His performance won numerous applause from the crowd.









After which, we went our separate ways....
