Some updates

Sorry guys... Been very busy at work ever since I finished my Reservist...

Now, the first update.... MY ASUS EEEPC 900HA! haha!! Well, previously I didn't want to get a Netbook (It's a new term for very small laptops) because I had to upgrade my modem to a wireless one, but just when I wanted to get a new modem at the recent IT fair, Singnet Broadband sent a letter telling us that we are able to upgrade our current plan to a new one.

And just nice, the 8MBps plan includes an Asus EEEPc

Here's the photo:

I got the white colour one, although there were other colours, but I think white looks really really cool haha!

Some specs:
- Asus EEEPc 900HA. Intel Atom 1.6Ghz
- 8.9" widescreen
- Win XP Home SP 3
- 2 GB DDR2 RAM (Default is 1GB)
- 160GB HDD (SWEET!)
- WIFI connection
- 1.3MP Camera
- SD cardreader
- 3 USB 2.0 ports
- LAN port
- VGA connector
- 4-cell battery (With WIFI can last 3.5 hours. No WIFI can last 4hrs 50 mins!)

I just got it "skinned" with a very cool design haha! And it's definitely a head-turner haha!

2008-11-26 K Tee BUI TIME!!!

I met up with Ber Ber, Jane, Sally & Franklin and we had dinner at City Hall's New York New York.

The only thing we hate about that place is the music. Imagine you are trying to enjoy your meal, but the music in the background is pumping and pounding away in Hip-Hip, Rock and R&B...

Can't really enjoy the meal with such loud music going on.... CHANGE THE MUSIC!!!

Still the food & drinks are excellent!

After we were done we headed down to this new KTV at Sempang Bedok. It is right opposite the Prata Area and next to a 24-hour Cyber cafe.

Although it's still not official opening, but most of the facilities are available but the drinks are atrocious! $5.00 for a can of drink!!!! OMG!!! Since it's cheap, so don't expect the sound system to be very good. I would rather go Partyworld or K-box for good KTV sound system

But I guess when it's 100% done and officially opened, I will go back to see what are the differences... Still then, this is a good place to go (Before it's official opening) for cheap KTV.

Dragonfly, Dragonfly, Dragonfly... Heard so much about how hyped-up this place is, how cool this place is and how high this place can get with all the canto, mandro and english songs played by the live band

Last week, I went with Ber Ber, Jane, Sally & Franklin to experience it first-hand.

We went there about 10:30pm, and we were quite surprised by the queue just outside... Quite short. But once inside, it was a totally different story. The place was full of energy (When we entered, the band was playing Mayday's song), people were dancing and singing along with the Live band... Simply Amazing!

We had some fun, laughters and sing alongs... But we just wasn't in the mood, maybe it's because if we go to these places, we have a open a bottle... And not just stand around with a small glass of mixer in our hands... Just not high enough...

Next time i guess....

we left the place at about 1:30am, Hungry and tired, we decided to head down to Geylang for supper. The taxi uncle really idiot... He said he knows where is "Wan Dou Sak" HK timsum, in the end, he dunno the location. Ended up we go in circles, wasting money.

Really lor, dunno say dunno... Act smart... End up look like an idiot...

In the end, we decided to settle for this HK-styled timsum shop. Not bad... But I never noticed the name... But oh well... at least we had our stomaches filled with nice food :)
