Super big update!!! (Again...)

So sorry... Don't really have the time to update my blog, and post all the photos taken every time we go out... But today got time HA HA!

Met up with Ber Ber, Jane & Steve at City Hall. Then, we go walk walk about, with no place in mind, we settled our dinner at the Suntec City Convention Centre's Food Court.

Taken while Steve & Jane go buy their food... hee hee...

Seafood & Kimchi soup (With Rice)

Hakkai Fried Toufu

Fried Prawn Noodles

Kimchi Soup (With Rice)

While devouring our delicious dinner, we suggested to go the KTV at Bugis, Top One KTV. Because membership is only $23.40, and you get to sing for max. 5 hours, what's more?! Free flow of drinks!!!! That is seriously MADNESS!

So... without delaying much, we immediately booked a room and "flew" over...

Now, why is there SO much hype about this [TOP ONE KTV]? Besides very reasonable rates, free flow of drinks, each floor has a different theme, so customers will only know what room they are getting when they begin the service. From Futuristic, to Disco to Romantic... You name it, they have it...

Really had a great time singing, i think there were more pranks, jokes and laughters than actual singing haha!! We should do this again...

Went supper with Ber Ber last friday at East Coast. We went back to the Hong Kong Cafe at East Coast. And this time round, the Air-con was there! GOSH! The first time we went there with Ber, Jane & Sally, the Air-con was malfunctioning, so the whole place quite stuffy...

By now, you should realised that me and Ber like to visit different common restaurants and review their food, so this time is no exception as well...

Golden Mushroom Fries: Tastes great the first few pieces. After a few more additional pieces, the saltiness and oiliness starts to take over. But lucky, there were some vegetables at the base of this dish to absorb some of that extra oil... Rate: 3 of 5

Fried Tofu: Look & smell will send it very high on the ratings. But "looks can be deceiving". The wonderful taste of lightly fried tofu was totally ruined by the sauce and ground peanuts. The sauce was simply too salty. A dish that fell from grace due to taste. Rate: 1 of 5.

Singapore-style fried bee hoon (Requested for Vegetarian-style): Smell & presentation has given it a head start. But, it was just too salty. I only had a few mouths, I put it aside. (Ok! I know it was wasteful, but it was just too salty. Every mouth I take, I have to drink a lot of water... Might as well drink only water...) Rate: 2 of 5.

Mushroom tom yum soup (Requested for vegetarian-styled): Arguably, the BEST dish of that night. No doubt about it! Rate: 3.5 of 5

Fresh mango ice blended with fresh fruits (Queen version): Seriously, without those fresh fruits, I can get better tasting mango ice blended at [Sweet Talk]. Rate: 2 of 5

Our supper at Wang Xing Hong Kong Cafe (East Coast branch), was heavily "bugged" with either too much salt or too much oil. A totally different experience...

Last Saturday, went to Ber Ber's friend's 21 birthday celebration party at Punggol Marina Country Club. Met up with Ber Ber first at Tampines, then we made our way to Punggol, because we are meeting Jane & Sally there.

But luckily, Sally arrived before we missed the last free shuttle bus *Phew*

A very *ulu* place, very quiet, but a lot of people there for the seafood and prawn fishing!!! It doesn't feel like a country club, because people wear singles, shorts and slippers there. *Faint* It is a country club, and people are wearing such attires... But, I think the Management is also partially at fault. They did not enforce any dress attire, so naturally people won't give a darn about their dress codes...

We didn't take any photos at her friend's party, because it didn't seem like a party at all. More like "You do your things, I do my things.". Seriously speaking, it is no easy feat to organise an event. Because you will be inviting many of your friends, from all walks of lives, and all your friends don't know a shit about each other. Naturally, the ambiance will be a bit awkward, so it will take the Host very big effort to bring everyone together and make sure everyone is interacting with everyone...
