FINALLY, after missing a few chances to watch fireworks with Ber Ber, we can watch it together le!!! Sooooo NICEeeee..... 1st time watch fireworks with Ber Ber... The fireworks was SOooo CLOSE to us!!! SOOooo PRETTY!!! Soooo ROMANTIC!!! I want to watch every fireworks with Ber Ber...

Fun & Romantic Weekend

Hey ya! I'm back! haha! Been slightly busy with my work recently, but always I will fork out time to company my Ber Ber go shopping or spend time together haha!!

Yesterday, I met up with Ber Ber after i finished my work at Orchard, together with Jane & Sally. We had our dinner at Wisma's food court. Because my rashes haven't fully recover so a lot of food I still can't eat. *SOB SOB* I MISS MY CHILI!

Then, we went to this very cool pub, called "The Loof", which is right next to Raffles Hotel. Very nice and cosy place. But I don't like the level of service. The waiters and waitresses kept pressing us for payment. WHY AH?! JUST BECAUSE A LOT OF "ANG MOHs" PATRONIZE THAT PLACE, SCARE WE SINGAPOREANS NO MONEY TO PAY IS IT?! S-HOLES!!!

KNS! Give me another 3 years. The very next time I go there, I will put $10000 on the tab... KNN...

But nevermind, we took a lot of photos haha!!!


After that, we didn't know where to go, so we went KTV!!! hahah!! We just kept singing and singing and singing and singing hahaha! And again, we were bugged by poor service. We ordered drinks but no straws. We have to use back our straws from the first drink. WTF!!! ARE YOUR STRAWS MADE OF GOLD?! C`MON THEY ARE MADE OF PLASTIC! PLASTIC, FOR GOD SAKE. How much can a straw cost? 0.5 cent? Can't believe company is cutting back on straws to save cost! Might as well ask customers to bring their own mics, bring own food, bring own drinks.... We go there sing the songs they have in their system... OMG!

P.S: Ber Ber... Thank you for such a wonderful evening... HeeHee... I really really enjoyed it... And you looked really wonderful last night. =)

Super major Update

What's been happening to me for the past two weeks? MC for two days due to a rash. SO Terrible!

My thighs were full of red spots! My arms... Patches of red dots... SUPER ITCHY! Plus the wound on my ankle... Everywhere also got red spot... so itchy

Then so many things can't eat...*SOB* *SOB*

But finally after two weeks, I am close to 100% recovery!!! Still got some red dots here and there.

Finally, I can go out and have fun liao haha!!!

Finally can meet Ber Ber... So long never meet her since I got Rashes. Really miss her very much.

Meet her after work at City Hall. Same as ever. Packed with people.... We went to Marina Square for a quick dinner then we went window shopping... The feeling was so great... haha!!!

After that, we took a slow stroll to Esplanade and went to this Chocolate cafe, Chocz. It is a very nice cafe. Full of chocolates and filled with flower scent.

A small incident happened during our meal at Chocz. A few tables away sat 3 families. Ang Mohs, Singaporeans and kids. They allowed their kids to run around the shop disturbing other customers and bothering the cafe's staffs. And only so "occasionally", they will say out this phrase: "My darling... Please do not disturb Jie Jie. Come over here and sit properly."

I guess she said that phrase just for the sake of saying it. I think she was enjoying it. Enjoying the fact that they don't need to take care of their children. Because the cafe's staffs will definitely take care of the kids. Because if they don't, their kids will definitely disturb the other customers in their cafe. SO SELFISH! Then, why in the first place you want to have children, when you don't even want to look after them and educate them?! I really pity poor staffs who need to entertain their kids, instead of taking care of the cafe.

IDIOTIC PARENTS! IF YOU NEED A BABYSISTER, PLEASE GO TO A CHILDCARE CENTER. THIS IS A CAFE. READ: "THIS IS A CAFE!" NOT A GOD DAMN BLOODY CHILD CARE CENTER!

If it was me, i would not even bother entertaining their kids. I would kindly tell their parents that their kids are disturbing the rest of our customers enjoying their meals, and our Management is not responsible for any injuries sustained by your kids. Please look AFTER your kid.

My fault

I did something very wrong... Very, very wrong to Ber Ber... After trying to keep this thing a secret, eventually i still couldn't keep it from her and told her about it last night...

It was a mixture of feelings. One side of me felt like a big rock has been lifted from me, because i no longer felt guilty for keeping a secret from Ber Ber, but the other side of me felt miserable, really really miserable... I have broken Ber Ber's heart, love and trust in me... i really dunno whether Ber Ber will ever forgive me or not...

I dunno... I really dunno...

And I always make her worry so much about me... Worry about my health, worry about my cough, worry about my fever... Ber Ber, so sorry, everytime make you so worried about me... I will make sure I get better faster....

Ber Ber took half-day off today! Ha Ha! So happy! We went shopping around Marina Square, then we went to walk walk around... So happy...




2008-08-23

Ber Ber wasn't very happy today because she had a big quarrel with her friends. Her mood was very bad the whole day. I didn't know what else I could do, so I decided to meet up with her and try to cheer her up. It worked! Ha Ha Ha!


When we almost finished that big plate of ice cream, Ber Ber's best sister, Belle, popped by to say Hi! All because she said that she was bored at home, and she came down by a cab... OMG!!! But that's why she's called "Sister". If friends not happy, one word, and she'll be there in 5 to 10 min.

She jio Ber Ber and me for KTV next week wednesday to go KTV... haha! KTV kakis! haha!


2008-07-26

Ber Ber said that she have a craving for ice cream again, so we went down to T2's Swenson's. I never knew that it was 24hrs. And it was very packed and the queue was quite long.

But luckily, those in front of me came in 3's and 4's, so the staffs had no problem finding seats for them.



Half-way through, Jane came by to join us and seriously we needed another for the Earthquake. Me and Ber Ber can never finish that MONSTER... Haha!



2008 07 27

Ber Ber took half-day off, so I meet up with her at 1pm first. We went over to Eastpoint to find her sister, Belle, and we had a small chat and it was fun haha!

Then, we reached Marina Square around 3:30pm, we went over to GV to buy the tickets to "The Art of Devil 3". Feeling hungry we went to grab a bite at the Marina Square Food Court. Although we don't like the food there (Most of the food are either too salty, or tasteless...) but that's one of the places with great view, cool breeze and cheap food... hahaha!!!

We went off to do more shopping haha!! And meet up with Sally first and went over to Topshop/Topman. Ber Ber tried on a few clothes.. Not bad... haha very nice... And I tried on a red V-neck t-shirt... Nice!!! But I need to workout more... Sigh... but no matter how much I work out...I'm still the same... SIGH............

Then, we went over to a small cafe next to Subway, where they serve those Hongkong timsum. Meet up with Jane as well... Had some small snacks, then we headed over to GV to meet up with Franklin...

Quite disappointing especially for a movie rated R21. Disappointing. Gross level: 2 of 5. Think Final Destination 2, compare the gross level and you will know what I meant... Only part that is really gross: Tons of slimy maggots crawling in and out of a guy's body. And its all without CG. That's GROSS!

After the show, we walked all the way from Marina Square to Raffles Place, feeling a bit hungry we headed over to lau Pa Sat, where we went greeted by "Ge Tai" A.K.A A Freelance Singing Stage. So nostalgic. 70s' music, 70s' dressing, a bunch of uncles and aunties who can't sing well, think they sing well and blasting away on the stage.... OMG!!! Please go take a look at "America's got Talent..."



Ber Ber... Thank you for a wonderful weekend... It's been a long while since we spent the whole weekend together le... I really enjoyed it... Hope that you enjoyed it too...

Hi hi! Finally got the time to sit down in front of my dear laptop and do some updates on what has been going on...

2008 Jun 29

Met up with Ber Ber to have a bite at the "Si-Nai Hong Kong cafe" along East Coast Road, my sister's old work place. We were hoping that the food at this branch would be better then the branch in East Coast park, because it is favourite haunt for Singapore celebrities and a favourite place for night owls...

Result: DISAPPOINTING!!!! Simply disappointing. Why? Here are the reasons why...

Reason No. 1:
The air-con was SO SO SO weak... I wonder how the rest of the people sitting inside the cafe can stand it... OMG!!!

Reason No. 2:
Food presentation. Cheese baked rice came in an aluminum bowl that looked like it was meant for prisoners.

Reason No. 3:
Food sucks, too salty or too sweet, food presentation FAIL!!! Drinks alright.

Conclusion:
"Si-Nai Hong Kong cafe" is OUT! Not gonna step into that cafe EVER AGAIN....

SHOPPING TIME!!! HAHA!!! Met up with Ber Ber after I finish work at City Hall. There were so so so many people... We had so much fun trying on clothes, sunglasses, belts, shoes and just being plain irritating to each other haha!!

i bought 2 shorts and 2 pairs of very very cute slipper haha!! 1 for me, 1 for ber ber. After shopping, our stomach were starting to "grrr...grr...", so we headed down to "Breeks Cafe & Restaurant" to have our dinner

Sunshine (A.K.A Ice Lemon tea... haha!!) Very light. And after that shopping trip, a cold drink was what we both needed haha!!!

Vege & herb stir-fried pasta with spice.
This one is definitely a "Killer". It was simply NICE!
But in terms of use of spice, herbs and taste, i think the Latin restaurant at Esplanade is better.
Still. THUMBS UP UP UP!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SALLY!
23 LIAO WOR!!! NI YOU LAO LE YI NIAN LIAO HAHA!!! (Translate: You're older by another year!!!)

Decided not to go clubbing or go pubbing, so we went BBQ!!! And coincidentally, it was also our group's first BBQ together. Not many people though. No hard thumping music, no crowded dance floor, just a simple gathering with a few good friends to celebrate the coming of a person to this world. It was very heart-warming...

MOS!!!!!

Met up with Franklin, Sally and Ber Ber at Tampines, then we took a cab down. It was quite surprising to us that when we reach there at 10:45pm, the crowd was so minimum... And out of nowhere, people just kept pouring into MOS after 11:30pm. And suddenly, the whole Smoove was so darn packed!!!
